Arsenal set for £138m transfers as busy week for three deals predicted

Arsenal are reportedly set for a busy week with two transfers expected to be completed and major progress made on a third deal.

This summer transfer window has already been a productive one for the Gunners with Martin Zubimendi, Christian Norgaard and Kepa Arrizabalaga having all joined already. However, it appears that the north London club are not done yet as they look to firm up their squad before their pre-season tour.

According to journalist Henry Winter, Chelsea's Noni Madueke and Valencia's Cristhian Mosquera should both become Arsenal players this coming week. Madueke is thought to have been agreed with a fee of £52m shook on with the Blues, while Mosquera is keen on a move to the Emirates Stadium and is pushing hard to leave Valencia.

Winter adds that a move for Viktor Gyokeres should also advance in the next seven days. He claims that a fee is 'virtually agreed' with Sporting Lisbon for his services and that add-ons are currently the big sticking point.

He believes that Gyokeres is still very keen on a move to Arsenal this summer and expects the forward to speak with his agent. It is claimed the Swede's agent is wanting to take a substantial cut of the deal which is not helping proceedings.

This weekend has seen tensions between Gyokeres and Sporting reach fever pitch. It began with the former giving an interview with L'Equipe where he stressed his desire to move to the Premier League and prove his worth there.

Sporting's president Frederico Varandas responded by insisting that Gyokeres would be disciplined by the Lisbon club after failing to report to pre-season training. Now, the player appears to be in limbo despite having his heart set on an exit.

Winter believes that should these deals be completed, Arsenal will be looking at selling some of their fringe players to recoup money. Jakub Kiwior, Reiss Nelson, Leandro Trossard, Fabio Vieira and Oleksandr Zinchenko are all listed as players who could be on the agenda to leave.
