Women associated with Jeevika groups in Bihar are being provided financial assistance for self-employment. Under the Chief Minister's Women's Employment Scheme, eligible women are receiving an initial assistance of ₹10,000 each. Women who wish to expand their work will receive financial assistance of up to ₹2 lakh. Funds have now been transferred in four installments under this scheme.
Money has been transferred to the accounts of more than 1.25 crore women under the Women's Employment Scheme. Now, the fifth installment will be transferred. According to the dates announced by the Bihar government, the funds will be transferred to women's accounts on Friday, October 24th. However, due to the Bihar Assembly elections, no program or public announcement will be held. The funds will be transferred to eligible women according to a pre-prepared list.
Four installments have been transferred so far.
The first installment under the Chief Minister's Women's Employment Scheme was transferred on September 26th. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself transferred funds to the accounts of 7.5 million women through a single click. Subsequently, funds were transferred to the accounts of beneficiaries under the scheme on October 3, October 6, and October 17. According to reports, more than 1.25 crore women have received the first installment of ₹10,000.
How to Check Your Name on the List
You won't be able to find information online or on your mobile phone about when the money will be credited to your account. You'll need to visit the village organization or regional office where you submitted your form. You can check your name on the list there. However, if your Aadhaar number and mobile number are linked to your bank account, you'll receive a message on your mobile phone as soon as the money is transferred.
How to Fill Out the Women's Employment Scheme Form
Filling out the Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana form is very easy. You can avail this financial assistance to start any of the 18 types of employment identified by the government. If you are a rural resident, you can fill out the form by visiting the nearest village organization. If you are in the city, you can apply online through the portal. However, to avail the benefits of this scheme, you must join a Jeevika Self-Help Group. Only after this can you fill the form.
