Under the guidance of the Bharatiya Shiksha Board, the Patanjali Gurukulam celebrated its grand Vasantotsav at the Shivadhyayana Auditorium in Haridwar. The event saw participation from prominent saints, scholars, and educationists from across the country.

Addressing the gathering, Swami Ramdev Ji, head of Patanjali Yogpeeth, emphasized the revival of the ancient Guru-Shishya (teacher-disciple) tradition. He stated, “In our traditional Gurukuls, knowledge was imparted alongside discipline, character-building, humility in speech and behavior, and a refined lifestyle.” Patanjali Gurukulam, he said, is continuing the legacy of the ancient Rishi (sage) tradition and preparing the next generation under the leadership of Shivadhyayan Vidyam.

He added, “This institution is enlightening humanity by addressing the deeper challenges of life.”

Swami Chidanand Ji Maharaj, President of Parmarth Niketan, shared his impressions after interacting with the students. He emphasized the need to present eternal truths to the younger generation, lamenting the misrepresentation of India’s cultural past. “What should have been highlighted was hidden, and what was untrue was promoted,” he said. “India must now see itself through its own eyes.”

Mahamandaleshwar Swami Harichetnanand Ji Maharaj praised Swami Ramdev Ji as an important link in the lineage of great saints who have revived Sanatan Dharma in modern times. “Through Patanjali Gurukulam, Swami Ramdev Ji has conveyed the message of Sanatan Dharma to the entire world,” he said.
