Gurmeet Choudhary and Debina Banerjee played the roles of Ram and Sita in 'Ramayana' in the year 2008. The audience loved their pair a lot. Debina and Gurmeet, who came close to this show, got married. The couple has two daughters. The couple went to visit Mathura and Vrindavan with their families. Apart from visiting the temples here, they went to meet Saint Premananda Maharaj in Vrindavan.

Debina has written in the caption, 'Mathura gave us a lot of love and blessings! From staying at Vrindavan Home Towers to listening to the chants of 'Hare Rama Hare Krishna' there, this trip was very special. Everything felt peaceful and full of love. We are very happy that our little ones were able to visit the temples of the religious city and experience the spiritual energy. We also got a chance to meet Premanand Maharaj ji; his words touched our hearts. We are feeling grateful for this beautiful life.

During the Vrindavan trip, Gurmeet, who came to meet Premanand ji, introduced himself and Debina and said, 'The first work we both did was for Ram and Sita. We got so much love from there. We just need your blessings that we keep moving forward like this. On this, Premanand Maharaj said, 'Keep remembering the name of God. There are chances of further progress through that. Keep remembering the name, do not forget the name. There is a lot of power in the names of God. You got the privilege of acting as Lord Ram; remember his name.

The couple visited the temple in Vrindavan. Apart from this, they also visited a Gaushala where they served the cows.
