Mumbai Indians have moved towards the final by defeating Gujarat Titans in the Eliminator of Indian Premier League 2025. The audience got to see a lot of thrill in this match. Mumbai Indians scored 228 runs for 5 wickets thanks to Rohit Sharma's 81 runs. The match was slipping out of hand but one ball from Jasprit Bumrah turned the tables. The pair of B Sai Sudarshan and Washington Sundar broke and the Gujarat team could only reach 208 runs for 6 wickets. Bumrah dashed the hopes of the team and it was out of the IPL.
A close contest was seen between Gujarat and Mumbai in the IPL Eliminator. First Rohit Sharma's blast was there in the match and then when the team needed it the most, Bumrah showed his magic. The target of 229 runs also started looking small for Gujarat when the pair of Sai Sudarshan and Washington Sundar were running runs at a rapid pace. Seeing the match slipping out of hand, captain Hardik Pandya handed the ball to his infallible weapon Bumrah and he did what he is known for.

Sai Sudarshan and Washington Sundar put pressure on Mumbai by making a partnership of 84 runs in 44 balls and were preparing for a great finish. When Jasprit Bumrah came to bowl, 78 runs were needed in 39 balls and 8 wickets were in hand. He bowled a brilliant yorker which blew away Washington and leg stump. Mumbai took advantage of that opportunity and won the match by 20 runs.

For Gujarat, the pair of Sai Sudarshan and Washington Sundar were moving towards the target comfortably but as soon as this pair broke, everything changed. Sundar, who was playing after scoring 48 runs in 24 balls, was bowled by Bumrah on a tremendous yorker and after this, the match slipped out of Gujarat's hands. After Sundar was out, the pressure of scoring runs came on Sudarshan and for the first time in the entire innings, he hit a shot that proved costly for Gujarat. He missed scooping Richard Gleeson's ball and returned after being bowled on 80 runs. The team could only reach 208 runs for 6 wickets in 20 overs.
