Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Three people were arrested while they were carrying illegal liquor in a car in the Khajrana area, police said on Sunday. The cops said that the accused also sustained injury after falling while fleeing from the police.
During a police check, three suspicious looking people were seen in a car and the driver tried to speed up and flee but the police managed to stop the vehicle after cordoning off the area.
During the search, about 400 quarters of country made liquor were recovered from the car. Police seized the liquor and the car. They said that when the three were stopped, they tried to flee from the spot but got injured.
Indore: Depressed At Not Getting Job, Man Ends LifeThe accused were identified as Bhaiyyu Surila, Amzad alias Bakra, (both residents of Khajrana area) and Jyoti, a resident of Bhopal and current living in Khajrana.
The accused allegedly confessed to buying the liquor from somewhere at a cheap price to sell it at a higher price here. They have been booked under the relevant section of the MP Excise Act and further investigation is on.
