Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Listening to Arijit Singh’s songs, playing with kids, talking with parents, and friends, dancing and painting were the stress busters for state toppers in Class 10, 12 examinations conducted by Madhya Pradesh Board of School Education. Free Press talked to them.
Want to join civil services
I had expected a place in the merit list but not as a topper. I studied setting targets but did not measure hours. I used to decide in advance how much time to devote to each subject. I used to play with children and talk to parents to avoid stress. My parents are government school teachers. Before the exam, I was active on Instagram and Facebook, but as the exam approached, I uninstalled them. Since then, I have focused only on studies. I will take PCMB in Class 11. I want to join civil services. My success mantra is don’t consider studies a burden, develop interest in it.

AIM: Joining civil services
I want to become an IAS officer. My success mantra is that if you go to school regularly and study diligently, you will definitely get success. I was expecting to be in the top 10 but not a topper. I used to devote six hours to self study. I studied from NCERT books and consulted teachers to clear doubts. I used to play badminton and make drawings to burn stress. I have no social media account. My father is a teacher and mother is a homemaker.

My father is a driver and mother is a homemaker. I had expected 7th or 8th rank. I used to devote four hours to self-study daily. I have no mobile phone and am not on any social media. I used to sing songs of playback singer Arijit Singh and dance also to burn stress. I want to become a chartered accountant.

I worked hard from the beginning so I expected good rank but didn’t think I will be a topper. I used to dedicate five hours daily to self study. I used to study by making a time table. I used to divide time between all subjects. My father is a businessman and mother is a homemaker. I used to listen to pop music (Feel Good) and paint to burn stress. I want to make a career in painting, fashion and interior designing. I have no mobile phone. My success mantra is if students keep distance from mobile phone, they will definitely succeed.
