A shocking incident has come to light from Maharashtra's Latur. A minor dispute over the construction of a wall took a violent turn and a woman tried to mow down another woman with her car. CCTV footage of the incident is going viral on social media.
This incident occurred on 22 June near the Ram Mandir premises in Arvi village of Latur district. Reportedly, a woman identified as Shahzadi Mujib Sheikh was protesting against the wall being built in the temple compound.
During this time, Radhika Patil also reached the temple to seek blessings. When the protest escalated, the police reached the spot and asked the crowd to move away from the spot.
Patil claims while she was walking towards her two-wheeler, Shehzadi Sheikh deliberately tried to assault her with her Alto car. She alleged that Shehzadi drove the car at a high speed with the intention of crushing her, but she narrowly escaped due to the promptness of the local people.
CCTV footage of the incident shows a car approaching a woman and attempting to hit her, while she tries to stop the car with her hands. The video shows locals quickly rushing toward the car, opening the front door and stopping the woman driving it. One of the locals is also seen throwing a stone at the car.
