Dhawan displayed his dancing performance in the sixth over of the run-chase when Shaun Marsh (11) attempted to cut a delivery bowled by Piyush Chawla, but he ended up edging the ball into the stumps. After the wicket, Shikhar Dhawan, who was in the India Champions dugout, celebrated the dismissal.

Callum Fergusonโs scintillating unbeaten 70 off just 38 balls powered Australia Champions to a four-wicket victory over India Champions in Match 10 of the World Championship of Legends (WCL) 2025, played at Headingley, Leeds on Saturday.

Chasing a daunting target of 204, Australia Champions found themselves in deep trouble at 65/4 shortly. But Ferguson, in partnership with Daniel Christian, turned the tide with a match-defining fifth-wicket stand. Christian contributed a vital 39 off 28 balls before falling.
Earlier, after winning the toss and opting to bowl, Australia Champions faced a formidable India Champions batting performance. Skipper Shikhar Dhawan led from the front with an unbeaten 91 off 60 deliveries.

He was well-supported by Yusuf Pathan, who blasted 52 not out off just 23 balls. The duo stitched together a blistering 100-run stand for the fifth wicket, propelling India Champions to a commanding total of 203/4.
With the ball, Daniel Christian was the standout for Australia Champions, returning figures of 2/34 from his four overs. For India Champions, leg-spinner Piyush Chawla made early inroads during the chase, claiming 3/36 to put Australia on the back foot. However, Fergusonโs calm and calculated innings under pressure proved decisive.
