Buying a new iPad from Apple is never going to be cheap, but there is an eye-catching deal from Argos that certainly makes owning one of these popular tablets way more affordable.
The high street retailer currently has a rare discount on the entry-level iPad, which means you can pop one of these machines in your online shopping basket and . That's the 'lowest price ever' at Argos.
It's a very tempting deal, and shoppers have clearly noticed the bargain, with Argos confirming that it's currently 'in demand' and 'selling fast'.
The only thing you need to aware of is that this is the older iPad model which first launched back in 2022. This has now been superseded by this year's updated iPad which gets a faster A16 processor and 128GB of storage as standard.
The model Argos is selling at the discounted price, features a A14 Bionic processor and a more measly 64GB of internal memory.
It's clearly not quite as good as what Apple is now stocking, but this is still a top-rated machine that's perfect for someone who wants to send a few emails, surf the web, and play some games. It's also way cheaper with the latest tablet costing £329.
As a quick reminder, the 2022 iPad features an 10.9-inch screen, long battery life, premium metal design and full support for the Apple Pencil. That means owners can scribble on the screen without using their fingers.
Another thing to note is that Argos is now one of the only UK retailers stocking this device. Apple no longer offers the 2022 model and stores including Currys only have the more expensive 2025 iPad.
One of the only other retailers that appear to be selling the 2022 version is Very. It's also on sale for the same £269 price.
