Conor Benn has already leaked Chris Eubank Jr's purse for rematch

Conor Benn claims Chris Eubank Jr is set to pocket £10million for their upcoming rematch after the showdown was confirmed.

The pair are scheduled to go head-to-head for a second time at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on November 15. The event will be presented as ‘The Ring: Unfinished Business’ and will be promoted by Sela and sponsored by Riyadh Season and Ring Magazine.

Benn and Eubank Jr will touch gloves for a second time, seven months on from their first encounter. In a thrilling back-and-forth battle, Eubank Jr narrowly claimed victory on points. It looked likely that the two rivals would clash in September, but Eubank Jr insisted he would not be ready.

With just months until the rematch, both fighters are expected to receive substantial paydays once again, reports All Out Fighting. Prior to their initial meeting, reports suggested the total purse reached £15million - split equally between the British boxers, earning each £7.5million in the biggest payouts of their careers.

It appears they'll now earn even more for the sequel. During an interview with Boxing King Media, Benn appeared to reveal the fight purse. When questioned about concerns over Eubank Jr's weight cut, Benn fired back: "I do not care about him. I do not care about him cutting weight. He is getting paid an absolute fortune. People do that for ten grand, he is getting paid ten million."

According to Ring Magazine, the regulations will remain identical to the original bout. A middleweight limit of 160lb will apply alongside a ten pound rehydration clause on the morning of the fight. This means Benn will once again compete at a higher weight, whilst Eubank Jr may find it challenging to reach the middleweight limit.

After sharing 12, gruelling, rounds with Eubank Jr, it would appear that Benn is still not on speaking terms with his bitter rival. Benn, , said: "It was dangerous for both, it just depends on who’s side of the fence you’re sitting on. The only thing that affected him was the rehydration, but his team said that he can’t put on more than 10lbs, so 10lbs was the limit. I’m a 147lb fighter, you can see I’m not a 160lb fighter, and I weighed in at 157lbs and I was underweight!

"But we both took a risk in fighting at a different weight, I took a risk in fighting a bigger guy, so let’s find a common ground, but there are pros and cons to us being at that weight, it all just depends on who does it better. And he didn’t do it better, because he’s unprofessional and he cost me £500,000. I still think he’s an idiot. I will always think he’s an idiot!"

When is Conor Benn vs Chris Eubank Jr II?

The 12-round middleweight rematch is scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 15. It will once again be held at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in north London. Official times are yet to be confirmed - but it is likely that the undercard will begin at around 5pm UK time.

In the main event, the ringwalks will likely take place at around 9:50pm UK time. The first clash was shown on DAZN PPV for a price of £19.95, but full broadcast details will be confirmed in the near future.
