Dave Myers' wife has shared a moving tribute to the late star who would have celebrated his birthday tomorrow. Liliana Myers met Dave while he was in Romania filming the first series of The Hairy Bikers and married him back in 2011.
She was by his side until he passed away at the age of 66 in February 2024, two years after being diagnosed with cancer, and she has been open about her grief since his passing.
The 57-year-old has now opened up about the difficulties of navigating milestone moments after a loved one passes away - and opened up about the last moments she shared with Dave before he passed away.
The heartbroken widow said holding her husband's hand as he sadly died was an experience that changed her forever.

Liliana posted a photo of herself and Dave on Facebook and wrote: "We don't speak about these moments, but today I will. It would have been his birthday tomorrow.
"Holding the hand of someone you love as they leave this world changes you forever. In that intimate moment, all the noise of the world fades away, and between you and them, there is just love. It's the moment you realise how short and how precious is this experience called life.
"And how privileged you are to witness this crossing for your loved one. The magnitude of the whole universe collapsing in a beautiful silence in front of you, in this humble last breath."
She added: "I had this immense privilege to witness this indescribable, sacred moment, something so tragic and so beautiful, that changed my perspective on life forever. It was Dave's last gift to me… a reminder to live with deeper gratitude and joy for the time I’ve got left, and to cherish what we shared together.
"Thank you, my love, for every gift you gifted me, for I'm the best version of myself because of you. Thank you for allowing me to hold your hand in life and beyond."
Earlier this year, Liliana spoke about her struggle with the loss of her soulmate. She candidly shared how she has been dealing with grief and the many different challenges. In her moving message, Liliana shared: "Three distinct experiences to report. I had my motorbike training yesterday and driving over there I was having thoughts of giving up.
"Because I'd made mistakes and wobbled before, and I did not want to waste anyone's time on me. Mark, my instructor from Darbyshire motorcycle school, is the most caring person I met and he told me this. 'Lil, you can't just give up now. So many people are looking up on you as a model. You now have a voice'. Boommm... that opened my eyes."
She also revealed she has written a memoir in a bid to honour her late husband. Announcing the new book, she said: "This past year has been incredibly challenging for me on many levels!!! But guess what? I used all my creative side and honoured Dave by writing his story. Our story. "Today is the reveal!!!" The book, Dave and Me, was published in June.
