A toddler has been hospitalised after she plunged from a third-storey window - sparking a huge emergency response.
West Yorkshire Policeflocked to the scene after they received a report regarding a concern over safety. Officers attended the address in Ingrow Lane, Keighley, at around 8.41 am on Thursday. The force confirmed that the toddler was left with severe injuries after she plummeted from the window.
Locals took to Facebook after witnessing the catastrophe. One woman said: "I know the poor little baby, im shocked those windows even open up enough for anything to be able to fit out you'd think they’d have to have restrictions."

"How scary for the child and parents, I knew something happened when the helicopter nearly landed on my roof but never heard the sirens."
Speaking to the Telegraph and Argus local business owner Wendy Ashworth, who runs a sandwich shop across the road from the police scene, said the incident sparked chaos early in the morning when ambulances and police arrived.
She said: "Nobody seemed to know what happened until all the ambulance and police arrived this morning. It's terrible, especially a child of that age."
She added that it was "an absolute godsend" that the child was able to escape without life-threatening injuries, as police confirmed in a statement. She continued: "Babies don't seem to panic when they fall. The police have said they're not life threatening injuries. That's an absolute godsend.
"It's extremely sad, but I really, really hope she's all right. You just never know what's around the corner in life." West Yorkshire Police issued a statement on Thursday, reports Yorkshire Live. They confirmed that an investigation is underway.
A spokesperson said: "At 8.41 this morning officers were called by the ambulance service to a concern for safety call at an addresson Ingrow Lane, Keighley.
"It’s reported that a 2 year old girl had fallen from a third story window. The child has been taken to hospital with serious but not believed to be life threatening injuries.
"Officers remain at the scene whilst enquiries are carried out to establish the full circumstances of the fall."
