New Delhi: The second match of the two-match Test series between India and the West Indies is underway. In response to India's 518, the West Indies were all out for just 248 in the first innings. Chasing the follow-on, the West Indies batsmen performed brilliantly in the second innings, leading to a century from West Indies opener John Campbell. Meanwhile, West Indies star batsman Shai Hope also scored a century.
Only one wicket was taken in the first sessionWest Indies reached 252 for three in their second innings at lunch on Monday, the fourth day of the second and final Test against India. India's only breakthrough in the first session came in the form of John Campbell, who made a brilliant 115 before being trapped LBW by Ravindra Jadeja. At lunch, Shai Hope was on 92 and captain Roston Chase was on 23.
India declared their first innings at 518 for five, in response to which the West Indies could only manage 248 runs and had to follow on.
