Netflix has unveiled a first look at a "chilling" new seriesfrom The Conjuring creator which has already left subscribers demanding more.
Due to air on October 7, the eerie documentary series features "immersive reenactments and present-day interviews" as it details "paranormal encounters from the viewpoint of those who lived them".
A trailer for the series reveals how one woman who had hoped to move into her dream home in a beautiful neighbourhood was "shattered" as she "just didn't feel safe any more".
Another interviewee explains how he felt he had been driven to madness by voices and moving objects as he explains: "Something happened in that room and we were the ones who triggered it".
Viewers are warned a "new nightmare" is coming as it teases "real stories, dark secrets and pure fear".

The series, titled True Haunting, comes from the "acclaimed master of horror" James Wan.
After the trailer was shared on Netflix's X page, fans took to the comments to share their thoughts, with Andy Whisney saying: "I need one million episodes."
Somtel_Crypt shared their excitement, adding: "If it's James Wan, we know it's going to be terrifying."

James Wan is a Malaysian-Australian filmmaker known for his work on the Saw and Insidious franchises, as well as The Conjuring Universe.
The Conjuring is the highest-grossing horror franchise at over $2 billion (£1.4million).
True Haunting airs on Netflix on October 7.
