Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom has called time on their nine-year romance - six years after the Lord of the Rings star got down on one knee. The couple's representatives confirmed:" Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on coparenting. Hints that their relationship was in decline first appeared on Orlando's Instagram stories on Wednesday (July 2), where he shared a poignant message from Carl Gustav Jung.

It came shortly after he shared a cryptic post quoting the Buddha on June 30, which read: "Each day is a new beginning. What we do today is what matters most."

However, signs of a separation were evident in Orlando's posts before the official statement after he attended Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez's wedding alone. It is understoodtour duties kept Katy from attended the star-studded celebration.

Days before, the 40-year-old musical delivered a heartbreaking performance in Adelaide, Australia on June 30. Katy broke down on stage as she wrapped up her set, fighting back tears as she created a heart sign with her hands to express her love and adoration for her fans in the crown.
