Manchester United are prepared to accept very low offers for Ruben Amorim's exiled cast-offs - just to get them out of the club. Amorim has banished five players - Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho, Antony and Tyrrell Malacia - from training after they all expressed their wish to leave.
While Rashford is finalising a loan move to Barcelona for the upcoming season, the futures of the remaining four are still up in the air, leaving them in a state of uncertainty. The United squad jet off to the US tomorrow (Tuesday) to kick-start their two-week pre-season tour, and Amorim has dropped all four from the travelling group, forcing them to stay behind and train. Such is United's eagerness to offload them, the club are ready to take a significant loss on their transfer fees.
Previously their collective value was estimated at £150million at their peaks. Three years ago, Rashford was valued at £100m, but the fee Barca will need to pay to secure him permanently at the end of his loan deal in 2026 is now just £40m.
Garnacho's highest market value was £70m a year ago, but his stock has fallen so drastically that United are willing to accept around £40m for the 20-year-old winger. It's a similar tale with Jadon Sancho, who was signed from Borussia Dortmund for £73m in 2021.
But United are now content to let him go for £15m, just to be rid of him, although with only a year left on his contract a loan move next season is most likely. Winger Antony, who joined United for £86m in 2022, has also seen his value nosedive.

Interested clubs are now being quoted around £30m to sign him, while a fee of approximately £2m will be accepted for Malacia, who was valued at £20m just a few years ago.
United have previously included players in their tour squad who they intended to sell, such as Romelu Lukaku, who joined the 2019 tour of the Far East and Australia but did not play before his transfer to Inter Milan later that summer.
However, the United board's support for Amorim's tough decision to leave his outcast stars behind to train while the rest of the team embark on a profitable three-game tour of the States, highlights the strong backing for the Portuguese head coach's vision, despite last season's disappointing 15th-place finish in the Premier League.
