Noel and 's relationship may not be as rock solid as their upcoming reunion suggests, according to an insider report. The brothers, who are set to reunite on stage for the first time in 16 years this summer, will allegedly be separated behind the scenes, with individual green rooms and solo afterparties being organised.
Last year, Oasis . This July and August will see , 57, and Liam, 52, reuniting on stage for the first time since 2009 to perform at the likes of 's Principality Stadium, Heaton Park in Manchester, and Dublin's Croke Park.
The pair, who had famously been embroiled in a feud, haven't performed together since their last Oasis show at the now-defunct V Festival. Five days after their show at Weston Park, Stafford, Noel admitted he could no longer work with his younger brother and that the band were officially finished.
Despite reuniting their Britpop band, posing for a photoshoot together and starring in a new Adidas campaign, an insider has alleged that the infamous rockers have elected to remain "completely separate" behind the scenes of each UK and Ireland show. According to a report by , the brothers have also elected to host their own afterparties.
"You might be seeing Oasis on stage, but you will not be seeing Liam and Noel together afterwards," a source who has tickets to one of Oasis' Heaton Park shows alleged. "Each of them had a VIP list where their friends and famous fans could buy their tickets.
"But depending on which brother you got your ticket off, it's their green room and after-party you're invited to."
They claimed that if you're on Noel's list but fancied saying "hello" to Liam, it would be a case of trying to blag entry.
"It's gutting for people who want to hang out with both of them, but it seems they're keeping it all at a distance," they added.
Oasis are set to take to the stage in Cardiff on July 4 and 5th before taking over Heaton Park for five nights in July. Following their hometown shows, the band will head to London's Wembley Stadium where another five nights are billed.
On August 8, Liam, Noel, and the rest of the group will head to Edinburgh and set up shop at the Scottish Gas Murrayfield stadium for three nights before heading over to Dublin's Croke Park on August 16 and 17.
The duo will return to Wembley Stadium on September 27 and 28, with tour dates also scheduled in Australia, Japan, Mexico, Argentina and more.
In March, father-of-three Liam joked about who would be joining him and Noel on stage.
Taking to X, he wrote: "Here we have it. Peppa Pig on drums, Bert n Ernie on lead guitar n bass finger bobs on keyboard.
"Obv me n Rkid hope that clears everything up can't wait to see you all who's says RnR is dead LG x." (Sic)
When asked if he'd return to the band, founding member Paul Arthurs - who is better known as Bonehead - told Radio X in 2024: "See that bag under there? Plectrums in there. I'm ready, got me dancing shoes."
