Send Push
MUMBAI: India and the UAE signed eight memoranda of understanding (MoUs) in Mumbai on Wednesday during a visit by Dubai crown prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed.

The pacts - covering infrastructure, healthcare, education, and trade - were signed in the presence of Sheikh Hamdan and commerce minister Piyush Goyal, with the event hosted by Dubai Chambers. The agreements aim to build on earlier frameworks such as the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement and the Bilateral Investment Treaty.

Dubai Chambers signed MoUs with the Confederation of Indian Industry, Ficci and the Indian Merchants' Chamber to enhance private-sector collaboration. These will support Indian companies targeting Gulf markets and Dubai-based firms exploring opportunities in India.
