NEW DELHI: India conducted ' Operation Sindoor ' on May 7, executing precise strikes against nine terrorist camps in Pakistan and PoK. The Indian Air Force and Army collaborated in a coordinated effort to effectively neutralise these targets. Operation Sindoor was India's response to the deadly Pahalgam terror attack that claimed lives of 26 civilians.

The Army deployed loitering munitions and Kamikaze drones for conducting distant aerial attacks, whilst also utilising advanced extended-range artillery shells to strike specific locations, based on reliable intelligence inputs.

Mudassar Khadian Khas (also known as Mudassar or Abu Jundal)

Organisation: Lashkar-e-Taiba
- Managed operations at Markaz Taiba in Muridke
- Received military honors at his funeral from Pakistan's Army
- Received floral tributes from Pakistan's Army chief
- Government school hosted his funeral prayers, conducted by JuD leader Hafiz Abdul Rauf
- High-ranking military and police officials attended the ceremony

Hafiz Muhammed Jameel

Organisation: Jaish-e-Mohammed
- Related to Maulana Masood Azhar (eldest brother-in-law)
- Supervised operations at Markaz Subhan Allah in Bahawalpur
- Key figure in youth radicalization and JeM financial operations

Mohammad Yusuf Azhar (aliases: Ustad Ji, Mohd Salim, Ghosi Sahab)

Organisation: Jaish-e-Mohammed
- Masood Azhar's brother-in-law
- Responsible for JeM's weapons training programs
- Connected to various terror incidents in J&K
- Named suspect in IC-814 aircraft hijacking

Khalid (alias Abu Akasha)

Organisation: Lashkar-e-Taiba
- Orchestrated multiple terror operations in J&K
- Involved in Afghan arms trafficking
- Senior military and civil administration officials attended his funeral in Faisalabad

Mohammad Hassan Khan
